I just tried using Simple Burner with a 139 minute CD Image and it failed after the 90 minute mark, the Image was burnt correctly but Simple Burner had issues with it.

This is not a big thing though, I am happy with the method as it is.

Regards,

*did I mention you dont have to use openmg?
*it's faster and doesn't thrash your HD
*no openmg

Now..all I need is to be able to upload audio, then I will be an EXTREMELY happy customer.

Well thats about it. BTW, can someone please tell me why sony called their monster openMG, I would have thought openMD would have been more appropriate.

cya's and thanks again.

the easiest way to do it, is go through the steps of creating an audio CD, dragging and dropping your MP3s etc, and then when you're done with that, click the "Write CD" icon in the toolbar, when that opens there should be a button which says "Wizard". Click that.

Then another window opens to replace the write CD dialog, with cartoon style drwaings on it, and there should be a checkbox which says "Burn Image" or something similar, select that, and then click burn. It then asks you where you'd like to save "image.nrg" rename it if you want, and away you go!

hope this helps

Prior to 'burning' your image file

Go to the 'recorder' menu (top row, fourth from the left) and select image recorder. Then, when you go to burn your CD, it will be burnt to the hard drive instead of a disc.

Track Names

Okay everything is working great, I wan to thank the person that came up with this simple, but genius idea. I just recorded an image of about 46 songs (around 1.6GB) with Simple Burner and encountered no problems, but I do have a question.

When transfering all of your songs into Simple Burner from the Imagedrive is anyone getting the track names in the transfer? Do you have to retype them in, or is there a trick I am missing? Any ideas would be great.

No one has reported being able to use CD Text, perhaps it is not a feature of Simple Burner. Haven't tried it myself.

d'oh *slaps forehead*

that would explain it, but i've heard plenty of people say it is, go figure?

i can't unfortunately find anything to confirm or deny this though.....ah, it's not a big hassle, hoe long is it gonna take to type out a few song titles though?

Everyone who has tried nero to simple burner are you too not getting the text of the songs imported? I see other people not getting text unless they type it in. Has anyone been able to get auto titling?
