Yeah, but zero isolation. I use either the stock Sharpheisers at home, the EXSilicon on the bus (AMAZING isolation now) and car, and the D22s when I don't want something jammed in my ear.

isn't it a bad idea to use headphones while in your car?

Superbaldguy,

No, its California, Maryland. California is a town in St. Mary's County, which is the southernmost on the western shore. Upright_Man (remember him?) used to live in Lexington Park, which is a few miles down the road, and is where our Naval Base is. angeldesignpro lives nearly directly beneath me in Virginia (little bit to the west though).

oh, and how is your R50 bid fairing?

adesignpro, I got school off on Friday, so to say the least, I nearly 100% Grand Theft Auto Vice City yesterday (errr, stupid packages.) anyway, I think the D66's are overrated because in retrospect, I would of gotten the D22's if I had known that after break-in the D66's didn't really sound that much better than they were when they were right out of the box. Sure they're lightweight, but this freezing weather is making my eggos stay in that little "mushy state." They dodn't even want to stay on my ears!

I put some moleskin on the edges of the sharpheisers, and they're actually pretty comfortable, it's just that my ears are a tad bit too small and I hgave to cram the things in there in order for them to stay.

About the 4-Pole Etys, I think I'll e-mail them about that .

Tbdoah: Glad you enjoyed your day off, but ugh, I've spent yesterday & today doing homework >_< (would have rather had school on friday )

I'm a Sophomore at TJ - the work load is killer...

And in other news...

I've noticed I'm getting much better life on the DR7 battery after this charge up - charged for ~2 hours (up to three bars, didn't want the bloody thing to melt (it gets so hot)!).

This time, after 5+ hours of use yesterday (3 SP discs and an LP2 mix) plus today one hour of SP recording (Incubus - Morning View. The last song is amazing, Aqueous Transmission!) and Four or five hours of listening to SP with no powersave mode or anything and I'm still at "2/3 power bars"...

*shrug*

DR7 is so amazing I just can't get over it...

How does everyone clean finger prints off of their units? If you even look at the surface the wrong way on mine it smudges (same with the side chrome)...

One last comment: Tbdoah, might I suggest using two hands to operate the Auvi remote? Try thumb of right hand over the delta/sigma logo and that index finger on the hold button - it gives you something to anchor against other than the other buttons

About the backwards remote (*cough* me *cough*): Just keep the unit in your right pants pocket, and clip the remote on your breast pocket/left part of your shirt. Works for me at least

I'm a freshmen at Leonardtown High School (are boy's soccer got eighth in MD YAY!), and I had a ton of homework (stupid honors algebra 2 and biology..YUCK!).

To clean off finger smudges, I use a slightly damp cloth, and rub it off.

I'm getting used to the remote, and I've been useing both hands, but I still don't like it. And the reason why backwards remotes came around because most people operate the unit in their right hand, correct? And since the remote cable went into the remote from the left, placing the unit in the right pants pocket would cause the user to turn the remote sideways in-order to see it properly.

I used my remote in my left hand, so I could do stuff while listening...

Right pocket is for my wallet, and then we get the original problem of the earbud stretching across your body!

I operate it with both hands, anyway. I'll give up then. The remote is the right way around. Even if it isn't, to me. *grumbles*

My EX70 silicon mod was getting silicon cement, and gluing up every hole I could find. Don't think i'll bother do it to the EX71 though.

I don't like the stick remotes, so I'll probably use my 915 remote, which is by far the most comfortable remote ever!!
