Post *** Classified Ads Guidelines ***

Classified Ads Guidelines:

Sellers:

1. Only MD units, accessories, blanks, and related sound equipment are appropriate to sell in T-Station's Classifieds Forum.

2. Equipment trade proposals are acceptable, if trading into items above (trading a computer for MD gear is OK, for example, but selling the computer here is not)

3. Provide as much information as possible in order to maximize your selling power. Include technical details if any, links to product pages, description of condition, area from which you are shipping, and terms of shipping. Don't forget to provide the means to contact you other than your PM box here on the site, if you want to give buyers other means of reaching you.

4. This isn't ebay, so buyers, and sellers, beware. T-Station does not warrant or guarantee the condition, or even the existence, of items sold in this Forum. That even means Moderators. You are on your own. However, buyers or sellers who feel their transaction was not as discussed should contact a Moderator of this forum. While we cannot guarantee the echanges done here, T-Station members participate in this Forum in good faith. Violations of trust or illegal activity, including fraud, will likely warrant being banned from T-Station.

5. Don't forget to communicate with your buyer. If the transaction is unsatisfactory to either party, communication may solve the issue before it gets heated. As added protection, make sure you word your ad very carefully. Say what you mean, and mean what you say. If the sale is "As-Is" make sure and inform buyers in advance that you will not be accepting a return if they don't like it, as long as it meets your descriptive criteria.

6. If a buyer contacts you with questions that are not easily answered from the ad description, you should strongly consider adding the additional information to the ad for other potential buyers to read.

Buyers:

1. Got questions about the content, condition, or shipping costs of the ad items? Email or PM them to the seller. The seller should then update any relevant information in their original post that may be helpful to any other potential buyers. Got personal questions/issues/opinions about the ad? Again, contact the seller via PM or email. Do not post these to the Seller's thread. I repeat: no chit chat on the thread. Treat this as what it is, a classified ad.

2. Want to make an offer on an item? Again, contact the seller. No statements of intent to buy, trade, or even contact the seller, are permitted in threads. Let's keep the "YGPM" messages out of this Forum. Permanently. If the seller either has not, or apparently cannot, read PMs, or has not posted a contact email, then contact me or any Mod, and we will attempt to contact them for you.

3. If you think you've been scammed, try every effort to communicate with the seller. It may be miscommunication. If it cannot be resolved, contact a Moderator of this Forum.

4. If a seller states definitive terms, like "no trades" or "price is final", then don't insist on ignoring those terms and pestering them with other offers. They know what they want.

Failure to follow these very simple guidelines will result in your post being deleted. If frequent abuses occur, you may be further penalized on the board. Thanks for reading, and good luck with your classified ads. Feel free to email or PM me with questions.
