Watched a movie last night that someone mailed me on a DVD: "Running Scared". One of those movies where the whole story wouldn't have taken place if one of the characters had just said something to one of the other characters. 4/10.

wondering how many of yous would go see it, if names stick to international title, rather than TGWTDT.

Couldn't sleep last night, got up late and discovered Dirty Harry on TV so I watched it. 9/10.

On the other hand, just got back this afternoon from seeing The expandables. Nearly fell asleep partway through but forced myself to stay away just in case I missed anything good. I didn't. 2/10.

SALT A+++ Great action flick. Best I've seen in a long time.

Inglourious Basterds. Ugh. Inglorious indeed. No moral depth whatsoever, boring moments, poor acting from Brad Pitt; despite his cinematographic skills, Quentin Tarantino fails hugely here. Very distasteful in the whole.
Good acting from Christoph Waltz though.

saw Piranha 3D - ridiculous movie, enjoyable for it's sheer silliness. A few jumpy moments but no massive scares to keep you awake at night. Throwaway cinema which served its purpose.
