After you "install" Nero DriveImage in WinXP and it prompts if you want to install a not certified SCSI driver, will you have the Virtual CD-ROM installed forever (unless of course you uninstall the driver).

I mean, the method works great, I created an image, I installed driveimage and mounted my image in the new driver, recorded great.

But then after "ejecting" the image, and deleting it the virtual F unit is still there ? Is this normal.

As I just formatted my PC and don't want it to start messing up.

as its been said Daemon Toolz allows you to mount cd images it supports ".cue .sio .ccd .bwt". However some people find that its not very beginner friendly

i don't know about Nero DriveImage but the drives will remain in place on daemon toolz even when u unload the image, to remove the drives in deamon toolz you just diasable the extra drives and they don't appear anymore
